The full-size case is 60 mm deep because it stacks two trays and stands its vials up. This one lays everything in a single 14 mm foam tray: ten syringes on a pop-up rack, three vials, two spare needles, a needle clipper, eight swabs, with a silicone prep mat under the tray. The lid is a 5.7 mm shell holding the gel cold sheet. Closed, it is 26 mm, about an inch.

One tray, not two.Syringes, vials, clipper and swabs share one 14 mm foam layer, so the lid needs no depth. That is where the thickness goes.
The rack pops up.Open the lid and the syringe rack rises to 22° on a spring hinge, ten syringes fanned toward you under two straps. Close it and the rack lies flat inside the 14 mm tray.
Same vocabulary, tighter.Die-cut slot grid, elastic straps with one orange stitch line, zip mesh, matte EVA. Corners go from R14 to R10, the zipper hides its teeth, and the outside carries nothing at all. The name is inscribed inside the lid.
Needles get clipped, not carried.A needle clipper in the tray snips and stores the tip. The clipped barrel goes back in its slot and travels home as ordinary waste.
